morning walk

just some photos from my morning walk to work this morning. i realised this morning how much more i prefer to snap architecture and people vs scenery. the house here on the corner is my dream home.

adeline

i love everything about this girl (adeline rapon). i've been following her blog for a while. don't know why but her and her boyfriend take some really interesting and unique shots. plus they live in paris which of course leaves my simple australian mind romanticising about the french way of life and all that style to throw around.

nostalgia

this was taken in barcelona at the los encantas markets. was feeling a little nostalgic today about my time in barcelona. no need to be too thoughtful though, i will be getting my second wind mid year when i head back, so this pic just makes me bloody excited now i think about it.

the pony room

this was taken outside one of my favourite bars... the pony room. such a nice/relaxed vibe, awesome staff and good pizzas and sangria! my kinda place. you can usually find us loitering out the front on any given night.

men of milan

i had to post this... one of the most amazing men in my life is the sartorialist. and this photo well need i say more. he finds the real feeling of that moment in time. and we can't escape the obvious here, these are some fine specimen floating around milan!

took this of erin at a picnic we had yesterday down at a little secret spot we found. cheap wine, hummus and red rock crisps and beauty of a view. need i say more....

manly village markets

some shots from our day at manly markets a few weeks ago. as you can see the weather was temperamental and couldn't decide whether it a torrential rain kinda day or complete blazer which made working in a cauldron look like a piece of piss. our umbrella contraption and tarp managed to save us from soak status. despite the weather sitch, the mess, the colour, the chilled out market folk and general good vibes, shone through once again... sometimes i just wanna hug the markets. it's one part of my culture that i adore.

first post

after a major hiatus from writing/blogging in general, i'm back on the bandwagon but with a new spin on things. my little blog space will now be used as a haven for me to write, photograph and post as the creative juices flow. as the photo my dear sister took of me on the weekend suggests, i've had some time to bite my lip and think for a while, now it's time to do shit....
